A novelist, short story writer, publisher, editor, and memoirist, Nicholas Royle brought a rich literary perspective to the evening. His workshop encouraged participants to look closely at voice, structure, narrative movement, and the ways in which form can open new possibilities within a piece of writing.

The session also included a short reading from Nicholas’s own work, followed by an informal conversation with the group and an opportunity to ask questions about his writing, publishing, and editorial practice.

Reflective, engaging, and generative, the evening formed part of Three Highgate Arts Foundation’s continuing programme of literary activity, supporting creative exchange and the development of work in progress.
